MiLaDo Student app for iPhone and iPad

MiLaDo is a professional practice management solution for music schools and studios. It is being developed in collaboration with teachers, parents and students to facilitate collaboration when learning to play an instrument.
There are two apps: MiLaDo Teacher and MiLaDo Student


Benefits for teachers:

If a student decides to connect to a teacher using the app, it unlocks rich and secure collaboration features (annotated videos, ability to update lessons content anytime, question/answers betweeen lessons, etc).
The teacher can quickly view where a student is at by looking at their dashboard.


Benefits for parents / students / families:

The MiLaDo Student app is the free. It is used to view lessons, share progress and build good habits. It was designed to be engaging but free of gimmicks so it is suitable both for kids and mature students.
Parents greatly appreciate having a clear understanding of what is being done in music lessons.



Getting started with the Student app:
-------------------------------------
Every student must receive an invitation from their teacher before being able to use the app. The registration process is straightforward. No need to create a new login/password or provide personal data such as an email. Just send your teacher your apple ID email (found in Settings > Apple ID).

It is possible to connect to multiple teachers and track lessons for different instruments.

Once connected to a teacher, a student can receive lessons, ask questions, share practice logs along with audio and video recordings, provide self-assessments, add their own tasks to a lesson, build a repertoire repository of known pieces and more. And students will get an overall sense of achievement when looking back at the summary screens and seeing all the work they put in and the repertoire they built.

During practice, the screen is blacked out. Its just you and the instrument. No distractions. However some essential practice information remains accessible (instructions, a player for any backing tracks attached, etc)

The Student app was also designed to allow multiple students to share a single device. A great feature for families. All the teacher has to do is register each students individually in the Teacher app as if they had their own device, and send all invitations to the Apple ID configured on the device. On the Student app, simply go under profile > settings to add more students.

Data is stored privately and is only accessible by the intended users. MiLaDo data stored in iCloud does not count towards a students iCloud quota. The teacher takes care of storage costs as part of the service they offer to students.
